Ariana DeBose Wore a $14 CC Cream for Tonight’s Oscars

One of Sunday night’s first red carpet reveals belonged to Ariana DeBose—the co-host of ABC’s pre-show, who recently played Alyssa Greene in Netflix’s The Prom and is next set to star as Anita in the Steven Spielberg adaptation of West Side Story. DeBose came in strong with a gorgeous pony tail, bold makeup and a stunning-bright Versace dress, and we hear that the star of her glowing glam is none other than drugstore staple, e.l.f. Cosmetics.

“Ariana has beautiful almond-shaped eyes, which made it the focus of my makeup today,” says makeup artist Carola Gonzalez. “I wanted her skin to look flawlessly radiant, with a sparkly eye, and a lip that complemented her skin tone and didn’t compete with the colors of the gowns. I wanted her to look like the star she is.”

To create Ariana’s radiant look, Gonzalez used various products from e.l.f. Cosmetics (all of which clocked in at a total $70), including Camo CC Cream SPF 30 ($14), Hydrating Camo Concealer ($6), Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow ($5), Lash It Loud Mascara ($6), Srsly Satin Lipstick ($3), alongside some of e.l.f.’s other best-sellers.
