Pantone Colors of the Year 2021

Pantone just surprised everyone by picking not one but two colors of the year for 2021. The union of 13-0647 Illuminating and 17-5104 Ultimate Gray is both practical and optimistic. Basically, the perfect way to close out 2020. So we decided to hunt down the best pieces to flaunt the Pantone Colors of the Year 2021 in style.

On the sunny side, Illuminating is more of a warm yellow. It naturally looks great in spring and summer. But you can really rock it all year long. Especially if you opt for sweaters, sweater dresses and bright accessories.

Pantone’s medium gray hue may seem more geared toward winter. That’s not necessarily the case, however. We found plenty of all-weather offerings, from a shiny shirtdress to a perfectly pleated skirt to a flowy pair of pants and even a padded tee.

Are you ready to embrace both shades? Go ahead and scroll through the slideshow above to discover the most stylish ways to wear the Pantone Colors of the Year 2021. Feel free to mix and match. After all, that’s what Pantone wants. And you don’t have to worry about these items being one-year wonders. They’re so good you’ll want to keep on wearing them in 2022 and beyond.
