Christina Hall Rethinks Implants and Fillers After Health Concerns

On a “Self-Care Sunday” themed post, Flip or Flop host Christina Hall shared her growing health concerns with social media followers and asked fans if they’ve experienced any, too, after undergoing cosmetic surgery. The HGTV host wondered out loud if her autoimmune-related symptoms were due to her breast implants.

“[I’ve] been super exhausted lately so on a kick to get back into my body,” she wrote on Instagram Sunday night. “I’ve had some unexplained health stuff for years and now I’m considering the thought that this could be breast implant related. Does anyone else have any experience with this subject? I’m curious on all the ladies take on this.”

Hall, 39, shared the myriad of health issues she’s experienced over the last few years. “Some of my issues include: inflammation, autoimmune issues (Hashimoto’s disease, PCOS, Raynaud’s syndrome), unexplained skin rashes, joint and muscle pain, dry eyes, GI issues, SIBO, acid reflux, brain fog, hormone imbalances, swollen lymph nodes and adrenal fatigue. I test positive for ANA. I’m gluten free and mostly dairy free.”

An ANA test is a test that looks for antinuclear antibodies in your blood. According to the Mayo Clinic, a positive ANA test can indicates that “your immune system has launched a misdirected attack on your own tissue—in other words, an autoimmune reaction.”

The star also revealed that she had under-eye filler injections reversed due to inflammation. “I had all my under-eye filler dissolved as it was causing an inflammatory reaction that wouldn’t go away. On her Instagram stories she explained that the injections made her a “super swollen.” “In April, I had a reaction to under eye filler,” she said. “It wouldn’t go down with time.”

Her post and stories drew the support of her followers, which include other celebrities, notables and influencers who gave words of encouragement and recommendations on how to proceed with cosmetic surgery reversals. Hall wrote in her post that she was now headed in a better direction. “For now, [I’m] just working on detoxing and positive mind set,” she wrote.
