Monisha Jaising showcases glittering occasion wear with Reliance Jewels at Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI

Womenswear designer Monisha Jaising presented an array of glittering occasion wear looks with laid back silhouettes paired with Reliance Jewels jewellery on the runway at Lakme Fashion Week x Fashion Design Council of India. Bollywood celebrity Taapsee Pannu turned showstopper for designer. 

Reliance Jewels and Monisha Jaising came together to showcase their latest designs on the runway to mix their respective takes on glamour. The showcase took place at the Jio World Garden in Mumbai on Saturday, Lakme announced in a press release.
 
“It was an honour to walk for Reliance Jewels and Monisha Jaising,” said Taapsee Pannu in a press release. “I feel like a queen in the fabulous couture wear by Monisha Jaising and the exquisite jewellery by Reliance Jewels. Reliance Jewels’ newest collection, Thanjavur, has my heart, as their jewellery line draws inspiration from breath-taking architecture of temples and its intricate carvings, the incandescent colours of darbar halls, and the effervescent charm of art and crafts from Thanjavur.”

Jaising’s signature opulent occasion wear was paired with statement jewellery pieces by Reliance Jewels for awards ceremony or dinner date glamour. Taapsee Pannu closed the show in a deep red gown with a plunging neckline and a statement gold choker by Reliance Jewels. 
 
“My collection is an amalgamation of costume artistry with the exquisite craftsmanship of Reliance Jewels,” said designer Monisha Jaising. “The signature MJ draped gowns teamed with embellished crop tops and accessorised with filigree neck chokers by Reliance Jewels instantly raise the glamour quotient!”
