Shloka Khialani showcases ‘Ataraxia’ collection at Paris Fashion Week

Indian designer Shloka Khialani made her debut at the Paris Fashion Week with the showcase of her collection ‘Ataraxia’ at La Galerie Bourbon.

The designer’s couture collection ‘Ataraxia’ showcased versatile, avant-garde and chic Indian silhouettes to a global audience in Paris. 

The Ataraxia collection included embellished jackets with concept trousers, lehengas, gowns, and saris. To perfect her collection for the international runway, the designer revitalized her Indian style concept sari with corset detailing.

Commenting on her collection showcase in Paris, Shloka Khialani in a statement said, “The collection designed for the Parisienne runway is a real representation of the true calling and aesthetic of the label, and personally I am beyond stoked to be a younger emerging designer representing India at a global level.”

Founded by Shloka Khialani in 2017, the brand is housed by some of the best multi-designer retailers like Aza, Pernia’s Pop Up Shop, Aashni & Co, among others.

The designer’s outfits have been worn by Manushi Chhillar, Taapsee Pannu, Mouni Roy, Alaya F, Rakulpreet Singh, Richa Moorjaani, and Shoba Narayan among others.
