Siddhartha Bansal presents ‘Seven Heaven’ with a riot of colour at Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI


Designer Siddhartha Bansal presented a bright, joyous collection named ‘Seven Heaven’ on the runway at Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India on Friday as winner of design contest ‘The Spotlight’.

Nexa Presents ‘The Spotlight’ winner Siddhartha Bansal mixed ruffles with rainbows on the runway this season. The collection was inspired by the free-spirited atmosphere of the 1960s and 1970s and is designed to reflect joy and self expression with cocktail dresses end expressive evening looks. 
 
“Siddhartha Bansal’s collection, ‘Seven Heaven’ focuses on unravelling a positive visual experience, eliciting vivid human senses,” wrote Lakme Fashion Week on Facebook. “Describing it as an emotional Roller-coaster ride on a spectrum of colour and experiencing euphoria. ‘Seven Heaven’ is conceived to break the monotony of ‘Playing Safe’… Signature intricacy and detailed hand craftsmanship on flowy, rich fabrics, dopamine bright mix of hue prints and patterns, make each ensemble speak for itself. Layer by layer, each silhouette causes a ripple of visual harmony with design flowing out in an endless kaleidoscope creative process.”

Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with the FDCI runs from March 9 to 14 in Mumbai and features over 100 designers, according to the fashion week’s website. Along with runway shows, the joint fashion weeks features an array if sustainable initiatives as well as fashion sales.
