So what’s the trick to pulling off cowboy boots? In short: avoid looking costumey by staying away from coordinating western-themed separates.
You can go classic with neutral shades or go bright with neons, metallics or unexpected textures (like velvet). And while cowboy boots usually make for a bold statement, they can be tempered by opting for fitted ones that hit just above the ankle and by pairing them with everyday staples like jeans or fitted trousers.
