Gisele Bündchen is staging a big comeback and we definitely approve. First came a series of sexy V Magazine covers followed by a surprise appearance on British Vogue. Now the supermodel is representing Burberry for Summer 2022. The campaign marks a first for Gisele as she finds herself once again posing before the lens of Luigi & Iango. Starring in the ads for Burberry’s signature TB Summer Monogram collection (first conceived by chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci in 2018), the Brazilian bombshell poses in a studio full of black and white portraits previously shot by the photographic duo.
The campaign ignited debate on our forums. “Damn she’s looking good,” raved Cute.
“The thing I like about this, the only thing I like, is that it’s possibly another sign of a changing mood in fashion, in attitude and aspiration, a revival led by one woman alone at this point,” remarked tigerrouge.
“Gisele’s selling it even if I hate the monogram itself,” admitted RedSmokeRise.

“Only good thing is the casting,” said Urban Stylin.
“So cheesy and I don’t even care! I am loving Gisele’s comeback,” kokobombon chimed in.
Lola701 has mixed feelings: “Gisele is very Tisci, but not very Burberry. And while it’s good, it doesn’t offer a new perspective on her.”
“Anything’s better than the sight of that mundane Spring 2022 advertising campaign!” declared vogue28. “I’m here for this Gisele Bündchen comeback and can’t complain over Gisele reuniting with Luigi & Iango. I’m quite fond of the black and white portraits from years back used as backdrops and the nonchalant beauty styling.”
