Prada announced on Thursday the launch of its latest installment of the ‘Timecapsule NFT Collection’.
The Timecapsule drop is an online monthly event that takes place on the first Thursday of every month. On February 2, Prada drops its ninth limited-edition Timecapsule Collection paired with a corresponding gifted NFT.
The drop represents the second, in a three-part series of shirts featuring special prints by Italian photographer Enzo Ragazzini from his archive from the 70s’. Dubbed ‘Interferenza Attica art print by Enzo Ragazzini 1975’, it is inspired by a design made in 1975 with the optical interference technique, using mechanical devices of his own invention, which was digitized in 2017.
In particular, the shirt also features the Prada enameled triangle logo with ‘February’ transferred on the back of the shirt. Each shirt comes accompanied by its own gifted NFT, which serves as an invitation to join Prada’s exclusive Crypted NFT community.
Moreover, Prada announced that it is expanding its Web3 community to anyone who has purchased a Prada Timecapsule from the NFT initiative before June 2022. That’s good news for anyone who has been a Timecapsule collection holder since launch, back in December 2019.
As part of its “behind-the-scene opportunities”, Prada is also offering one NFT holder the chance to enjoy an unparalleled experience for its upcoming Prada Womenswear Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show on February 23rd.
